Hi, I’m Tracie
I’m the purple haired, dungaree wearing heart behind Wild Ones Photography. I’m a newborn, maternity and family photographer based in Tiverton, Devon, and I truly love what I do.
My photography journey began in 2017 when I moved from the Midlands to beautiful Devon and fell in love with photographing the landscapes and wildlife around me. When my youngest daughter was born in 2019, I turned my lens towards babies and families and something just clicked.
As a mum of three, I know every child is different. That is why my sessions are relaxed and completely baby and child led. Some little ones are shy, some are full of energy, and some just need time and cuddles. We go at their pace so we can capture genuine smiles, connection, and those beautiful little details that pass far too quickly.
My cosy Tiverton studio is designed to feel calm and welcoming for families. I have completed specialist hands on newborn safety training with an award winning photographer, I am DBS checked, and fully insured so you can feel confident your baby is always in safe hands.
What I love most about this job is watching families grow. I might meet a mum during her maternity session, photograph her newborn just weeks later, and then see that same little one again for sitter sessions, cake smash celebrations, and family photos over the years. Being trusted to capture those memories is something I never take for granted.

Where To Find The Studio
You can find Wild Ones Photography at 24 Gold Street in Tiverton, right in the heart of town.
My studio is located inside the Connie’s Clinic building on the first floor. When you arrive, simply head inside and upstairs where your relaxed photography experience begins.
Inside the studio I have two dedicated spaces designed to make your session calm, comfortable, and tailored to your family. One room is set up for my larger sessions such as family photography, sitter sessions, and cake smash shoots. The second space is a cosy newborn room, created especially for newborn photography sessions where the environment can stay warm, peaceful, and perfect for your baby.
Everything is prepared for you when you arrive, so all you need to do is step inside, relax, and enjoy the experience while I capture those beautiful moments for you.

When Should I book My Newborn Photoshoot?
The best time to book your newborn photography session is during your pregnancy, ideally after your 20 week scan. This simply ensures I have space in my diary around your due date.
Newborn sessions usually take place when your baby is between 5 and 30 days old. At this stage babies are still very sleepy and naturally curl into those beautiful, cosy poses that create the timeless newborn images you see in my portfolio.
Of course, babies do not always arrive on schedule, and that is absolutely fine. When you book, I reserve space around your due date and once your little one arrives we confirm the exact date for your session.
My newborn sessions take place in my cosy studio in Tiverton, where everything is prepared for you. The room is kept warm and calm, with soft wraps, blankets and props ready so you can simply relax while I capture those precious early moments.
If your baby has already arrived, please do still get in touch. I will always do my best to fit you in where possible.
